Matrix, one of the world's premier communications organisation, has been facilitating affordable communication options via its international SIM cards, and has also been simplifying foreign exchange concerns of hundreds of thousands of people across the world. It has been this fantastic vision, and the commitment by the Matrix team, that has led to the company getting the Emerging Company of the Year 2010 award. The company has grown from 317 employees in the past three years, and that too in a recession-hit market in 2009, when the travel industry was at an all time low, particularly in terms of international travel.
The organisation always aimed for becoming the leading provider of innovative telecom solutions that are not only unique, and practical, but also affordable by the masses. However, in the quest for devising a more economical alternative, Matrix has not compromised even one bit on quality, and that is precisely the reason why it has been instrumental in improving the standards of communication. Due to such fantastic achievements in such a short span of time, the organisation has been awarded with the Voice&Data’s Emerging Company of the Year Award. According to Voice&Data, the award is “another feather in the cap for Matrix Cellular (International) Services that has been going from strength to strength for the past few years”. Matrix CEO Arun Batra also commented on this illustrious achievement. In his own words, “2009 was a decisive year for Matrix with the travel industry being hit significantly by recession. We chose to take the challenge head on and today we have emerged not only better, stronger but also more confident. This is just the beginning and we see great things happening in the course of Matrix.” The organisation is now looking forward to many more such milestones in the years to come
